Why Americans consumer love Italian Food

As always, the figures speak for themselves. Italian producers have doubled exports to the United States over the last ten years and continue to maintain this unstoppable growth. Interest in Italian Food across the US is at its highest peak.

What's the recipe of Italian Food success? Apparently, Italian products strongly appeal to the tastes and preferences of American consumers who are looking for healthy, transparent products that clearly state the composition of the ingredients and have sustainable packaging and most of the Italian products destined for the United States practically satisfy all of these requests.

Furthermore, a large majority of American consumers recognize the importance of authenticity in the Italian Food products they buy, according to a recent survey commissioned by ICE New York. Most of them also stated they are willing to pay more for an authentic products, thus remarking the importance of 100% Made in Italy Products on the American Market.

and Gluten Free Italian Food

Consumers are more and more opting for food choices that can help them feel healthy, happy and guilt-free. Among the hundreds of thousands of specialty food and beverage products on display from more than 2,400 exhibiting companies at the Summer Fancy Food Show, there are clearly rising market trends impossible to ignore.

Gluten free is certainly one of them, with more and more people deciding to cut off gluten on the basis of assumed health benefits. Along with this trend, low-carb Pasta and superfood Pasta are emerging as healthy and gluten free choices. Plant-based is another trend that is not slowing down: with always more consumers looking for meat and dairy alternatives, but also for gluten free alternatives, vegetables are emerging as substitute for traditional carbs.
